Model

These custom elements enable us to generate and extract valuable information from the model, supporting a wide range of applications. From preconstruction sketches that provide a clear visual representation of the project, to bills of materials that clients can use for ordering purposes, our models are a powerful tool for project planning and execution. Coordination
At Nexus, the Coordination phase is a collaborative effort involving our team, the client, and other contractors working on the project. We are committed to working closely with all trades to ensure that level sign-offs are completed on time. This proactive approach helps keep the construction schedule on track and prevents delays to our deliverables. Our team is highly skilled in using the "Clash Detective" feature of Navisworks, which allows us to identify and eliminate clashes before we even reach the coordination phase. By resolving potential conflicts early, we ensure a smoother and more efficient construction process. We understand the importance of effective communication and collaboration in achieving project success. Our willingness to work with other trades and our expertise in clash detection contribute to a seamless coordination process, saving the client money by avoiding coordination delays and reducing time spent on field coordination, ultimately leading to a successful project outcome.
Deliverables
At Nexus, we take pride in providing a comprehensive range of deliverables that meet all project requirements. Our deliverables include completed Revit models, detailed shop drawings for installation, and much more. What sets us apart is our ability to deliver items that most BIM companies cannot. We generate bills of materials directly from the model, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Additionally, we provide organized lists of bundled materials and pre-fab items, allowing the warehouse to bundle items together onto single pallets. These pallets are then delivered to the exact area of the project where they will be installed, streamlining the installation process and reducing on-site handling. Our commitment to delivering high-quality, detailed, and organized project documentation ensures that all stakeholders have the information they need for a successful project execution.
Record Set/Closeout
At Nexus, we ensure that our clients receive a comprehensive and accurate record set at the closeout of each project. This includes a Revit model that has been meticulously updated to incorporate any as-built changes made by the field team due to unforeseen circumstances and field coordination. Additionally, we provide a complete record set of shop drawings, both for our client and the project record. We pride ourselves on our 100% completion rate, ensuring that all deliverables are thoroughly documented and controlled. Our rigorous document control processes guarantee that all project information is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible, providing our clients with the confidence that every detail has been accounted for.
